If ever a musical genre lent itself to theatre, it was the mass harmonics and wall–of–sound dramatics of Motown, the love–child of blues and gospel that made passion a musical fashion and launched the careers of some of the greatest legends in the history of pop music, from Martha & The Vandellas to Diana Ross & The Supremes, from Marvin Gaye to Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie and many more. Now the sensational story of Motown has come to London's Shaftesbury Theatre and features over 40 classic songs including My Girl, Stop! In The Name of Love, Dancing in the Street, I Heard It Through The Grapevine and Ain't No Mountain High Enough.
